Linkage slack
With 172,000 miles,when i excelerate, the gas pedel will move aprox. 1" before the car actually moves. Is this because of all the linkage that is designed into this car,or is it time to replace all of them?

probably no need to replace it but a good clean lub and adjust might not hurt. Remember though your linkage also inpacts whe the tranny shifts so becareful.
