Expansion Tank - How Full
 

After water pump and system flush and refill, the level of coolant in my expansion tank is just about an inch from the top. Higher than before, which was just about half full. Should I lower the level or will it drain itself out to the proper level if needed?

I would leave it where it is. You have an overflow tube on there, but I doubt it will overflow.;)

There should be a line & these words in German "Kaltwasserstand". & that means the cold water level.

Thanks DOC. It always amazes me how many english word can be crammed into one german word. Or do they just not use spaces.
