'88 190 climate control problem
 

can anyone supply or tell me where to find specifics for the recirculate flap operation. i have done the "search" but can't find the info i need. i have outside air from the center vent all the time. when ac is on and i push the recirculate sw. the lite comes on but nothing else happens. i can see a flap behind the inst. cluster that has various positions depending on sw. pushed in. there is a flap behind the center vent that only moves when the down arrow is pushed in. can't find anything that moves with recirculate. i have changed the vac. switching assy because i had an air leak. that fixed the hot air from the side vents under engine load but had no effect on the recirculate operation. where is that devil and what controls it??? thanks for any info that might help!
