Part # A011 9975147 / Seal for what??

I have been sorting out a bunch of parts that I dont need anymore and came across thsi seal. Its new in the bag, but I'm not sure what project I was going to use it for. I do know it fits an 84 190E. Is it a rear end seal or rear tranny seal?
