This is a photo of the left side subframe mount in the 91 300SE. This car lists to the left. You can see how the gap is uneven. I don't know if this is a cause or effect of the list but my guess is that it's the cause. Could be that some fool (other than this fool) raised the car by the subframe mount. I hope the nut isn't deformed in a way that a new bolt will go in cocked as well.
