Master key -- Alarm
 

I posted this in the SL Forum, perhaps it would be better posted here.


The alarm in my car will always go off if I unlock the car with any key other than the one with the red dot. I have used the valet key, a key I had made at a local locksmith and a key ordered from Mercedes Benz (using the car's VIN) which allegedly is a master key (no red dot-- as that blank is, as I understand it, not made any more) -- so, how do I get the car to unlock (with any of those keys) without the alarm going off????
