Opinions of W140 300/400SE?
I am looking at 1992 or so 300/400SE's.
I like that S-Class body style since it is somewhat less bulky. Would any W140 SE owners/drivers/techs like to share their experiences with this car

I own a 300se, 1992 and i love the car. It offers a ride like no other. Sometimes mantinace costs can be a bit high, but if you can find a "good" one, that is have a pre-purchase inspection, i would go for either of your forementioned models. Of course watch for A/C evaporator and the head gasket of the 300se.
