I've poked around behind the plastic cover behind the battery on my 1986 230E 124. I don't have the 124 CD-ROM, so bear with me.

I found the OVP, the CIS-E box, the Klima Relay, and the Fuel Pump Relay.

There is a empty rectangular multi-socket connector right next to the OVP. Is this really supposed to be empty? Or am I missing something.


FWIW, My car doesn't have ABS. It the empty socket for the ABS computer?
