W202 Cruise Control
 

I have a 94 C220 (W202) with a cruise control that sometimes engages and mostly won't. Did a search and followed what had been offered to that point. There was a similar problem in 2001 that appeared, but the party did not reply if he found a solution. Does anyone have any suggestions for a cure or trouble shooting path beyond that found in the search which was primarily bulb replacement?

I think cruise control (CC) is part of the CC/ISC controller on a 94 111 motor. The first step would be to check for fault code on that module.

It might also be beneficial to look at the engine wiring harness and throttle actuator harness. I have had engine harness problems on 94 111s but I personally haven't had any actuator problems with them.
