I am going to change the oil in the 300 D but am unsure of the proceedure for removing the oil filter cover. Do you remove all three nuts on the top of the cover? Any surprises when removing the old filter?
Thanks in advance-got a new Topsider that I just used on my SLK and it works beautifully! |

Take out the center BOLT first. Then the two nuts. The lid will come off. Let it drain then suck out the oil. Torque only to 25nm. Any tighter and major problems will happen.
