w124 head gasket leak
I have a 300TE 4matic which has
a small leak from both the front and the rear of my head gasket. These leaks are along the left side of the block where the exhaust manifold is. Is there any oil additive i can use to slow this down or stop it? |

By left side do you really mean the exhaust side? Left and right are viewed from the drivers position.
103(single over head cam) and 104(dual cam) motors are known for head gasket leaks. There is no magic potion for this problem. |

Thanks SEL,
It is from the exhaust side therefore i guess it would be the right side when viewed from the driver's seat. |

I agree. There's no cure-in-a-bottle for these problems. The headgasket needs to be replaced to cure the rear leak. The front leak is from the upper timing cover seal (u-shaped seal) which would be replaced during the head gasket repair.
