trans fluid
 

Im looking to change my trans fluid. I have a 11/95 C220. I called the dealer about what kind of fluid and they said just regular Dexron III trans fluid. And some shop i called said only use Mercedes Benz fluid like $9.00 each. And shop said they only use the Mercedes Benz fluid on 97 and up with electronic trans. I check the dip stick on my trans and the fluid is clear not red like Dexron III fluid. Pls help. Thanks.

If you car doesn't have a "W"-"S" switch on the shifter then just use DEXRON fluid.

I use B&M Trick Shift Synthetic. Redline is also another good choice. Assuming you want a better fluid than the OE MB fluid.

There's also Mobil 1 ATF that claims to be a Dexron III equivalent.
