Fuel Injector?

car starts up but when shift into gear drive or reverse itshuts down. new distirburtor cap and spark plug wires, spark plugs

Post some more info.....year and model. Miles on the engine, any other problems???

make of veh.

Mil. unk. veh. yr. 1987 300E Mercedes. Have tried to locate a repair manual unsuccessful. A new distributor cap, spark plugs and wires have been placed on veh. but it still stalls out when placed in gear.
