Is the next issue out yet? The last one (and only one so far I received) was Volume 1, Number 2.

This is being published bi-monthly, correct?

Lightbulb Prestige Magazine

Please do not get caught in the trap that so many magazines fall into and focus primarily on the high end of the target readers. I doubt that too many new S class owners are DIYers. I would think that the biggest audience would be in the older MB's and the C & E class. That, in my humble opinion is where the focus should be. Looking forward to reading your magazine

It's been two months since my last post on this thread. Has anyone received a copy of this magazine since Volume 1, Number 2??

According to the website its a quartly publication. So that would mean 4 months between issues.

Thanks for the reply. That was the last time I had posted on this thread.

The last issue I received was in January

If the website now states it is quarterly, that is a change from the inside cover of the magazine I'm holding which states the annual subscription of $16 is for six issues.

I'm confused.

Recently got to thinking that I had never received a 2nd issue of Prestige Magazine -- I'm assuming it's defunct???

Anyone know anything about its status?

Guess what? I never received my first issue of Prestige magazine, but either they, or PayPal, received my years subscription fee and kept it!

I found that they have no customer support help, and emailing through there sales dept yeilded zero!

I received two or three issues, then nothing for perhaps a year now. I went to their "www.benzmag.com" web site and it looks like there is a flashy new issue out with Jay Leno on the cover.

Seems that they haven't been willing to fulfill the loyal "charter" subscribers' subscriptions.

My judgement and opinion: this is a dubious operation and best avoided. I was never that impressed with the content that I did see from the few issues I did receive. Not profesionally written, typset, laid out, nor produced. All are far better off with Mercedes Enthusiast, Mercedes Classic and the STAR.

And let's not even get started with "Benzo" ....... that was a real joke.

Cheers,
Gerry

Sad but true! Hard to believe it was a sponsor of this list for a time...

This mag is a joke I can't get my hands on one! Barnes and Noble never has then I have tried for a year. Also I have requested a sample issue 1/2 dozen times with no luck. I will never hand over my money without reading a sample issue first.

Frankly I think we should get rid of their banner, these guys are a joke. I wouldn't trust them.

I got my sample only after reminding the editor. It looks photocopied.

My little sister got me a gift subscription to this magazine in December 2003 for Christmas. I received ONE issue. Nothing since.

My advice to anyone wishing to subscribe? Don't.
