560SL Engine Swap - How Much $?
I'm having R&R done on the engine in my 1986 560SL. I have quotes from shops that range from $800 - $2200, usually about 20-25 hours labor.
I'm afraid to use the lowest bidder, but I don't want to overpay either. Anybody know what the true cost in labor hours? |
Anywhere from 50 to 100hr, $2200 sounds very high.
