w123 230 purchase advice needed
 

Hi All,

Looking at an '81 230 with 100k on the clock and some history. It's for sale at £950 sterling, which is on budget.

It sounds presentable, but I'm new to these cars and wondered if there's any costly nightmares I should be particularly wary of.

I'm not a bad mechanic and can spot the obvious stuff you could apply to any 20 year old car, just wondered if there's any specifics that could help me out.
