c220 control box failure
 

my 1996 c220 only just started and then was only firing on 2 cylinders.
dealer thought it was the coil. they now say its the control box and because it is specific to car / engine and chassis germany will have to make one.
Cost is £1100 fitted. Is this about right price.

The USA fuel computer for that car is MB part number 017-545-61-32 & lists for $ 1180 USD. & labor and coding $$
IN the USA they also must be special ordered for the chassis number due to anti-theft DAS.
