today while on put on the cool blue bulbs on the 300se i heard a very loud clack / tick noise coming from front of engine... wasnt sure if it was a lifter/valve or T-chain ... what could it be ??? is it normal with 140k miles????

More than likely a loud belt tensioner damper. Others refer to this as a 'shock'. If it is at fault, you can do it yourself in about an hour. We sell em.
