Hardtop Seals .....sl600

Should the hardtop seal/gasket/rubber be treated with anything before the top is reinstalled?

I am specifically looking at the seal that meets the body and at the top of the windshield.

Should the rubbers/seal be wiped/treated with silicone or the like?
