Ever use Lubro-Moly Diesel Purge???

I just saw the article from The Star that recomends using Lubro-Moly Diesel Purge, in combination with the removal and cleaning of the crossover pipe. My 1991 300D with 165K runs like a champ, but I wanted to do this as a preventative maintenace item. What are your thoughts??? If you have any done this before are there any special things to watch oyt for or are there any better methods to clean the engine internally?
