				climate control fan speeds

			Hi all,

I have done a search and think I understand the climate control on my newly purchased 95 S420. I will check for the fuse for corrosion/break when I get home tonight. My climate control doesn't blow very strong. When I push it up to max and change the temp range to low, I get a little more volume of air, but not what I'd expect, i.e., blowing very hard. The temp outside was in the mid-90's and inside was well above that, but no extra fan strength! I hope this isn't normal. any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Greg |

Nope, sounds like the blower regulator took a dump. Pop off the cowl cover (several large screws) remove the dust filter and look down. Take the 2 smaller wires and check voltage at the full range of blower speed. It should make to 6 v or so, that being the case, connect the meter to the big wires, it should step to battery voltage, if not, there ya go, bad regulator. 140-821-83-51
