I AM IN THE MIDLE OF REPLACING BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS ON 90' 300CE.
HAD JUST TAKEN OFF THE CALIPER ON THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AND UNSCREWED THE ALLEN BOLT THAT HOLDS THE ROTOR. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE THAT I HAVE TO DO TO TAKE IT OFF? IT DOESN'T EVEN MOVE, I TRYED HUMMERING AND EVERYTHING ELSE THAT COMES TO MIND. HELP!!! DMITRY |
On the '90 ce, you have to take off the caliper complete with the holding bracket. There is 2 19mm bolts that hold that on. It could be rusted on...Just spray with some good oil and let soak overnight. Use a big hammer from the back side and it will come off. You will not hurt anything. Clean the front of the hub with wire brush and use some anti-sieze compound or grease on it.
