Good Price??Front end Job
Replacing tie rods, lower ball joints and guide rod assembly on 89 420SEL. My MB mechanic tells me the job will run about $1100.oo. That sounds high....good deal or bad deal?.:confused:

Sounds a bit High to me...But Im not sure what you mean by guide rod? Center Link? The tie rods are an easy DIYer the lower ball joints I would have someone else do as they tend to be a bear. Good luck

Correction---"joint rod kits" vice guide rod.
