Is this a Euro?
This car has a couple of features I really like - manual AC and fabric upholstery. Other features like the headlight adjuster and no 'unleaded fuel only' label suggest it's a Euro. Any thoughts? The droopy rear tells me something's really worn or it has a bad hydraulic system. Something I'd be willing to ressurect in a 230CE, not a 280CE. Thanks, Sixto 95 S420 91 300SE 87 300SDL 83 300SD

By looking at the bumper fillers and the heallights, which in euro models is the big single flat glass lens, and the speedo seems to be in miles, I think it's safe to say that it is a us spec car and not a euro.
And yes, it does seem a bit low in the rear.

Don't you guys think that it could be a Gray Market car that was brought up to US Spec (i.e. headlights/speedo)??? I have seen such a thing before

Looks like a Euro to me. To my knowledge None of the 123' came cloth in the US. It could have been special order but I doubt it would have manual AC also.

Upon closer inspection I dont believe that to be factory upholstery. Hmmm... I still think its Euro though

I think it's a Euro too.
The manual A/C controls The metric water temperature gauge. Doesn't the older-style temp gauge of these w123s have fahrenheit scales instead?

It's a Euro as the vin number starts with 123, if you go to car fax and type it in there sample box it will not show it as a car.....When I got my Euro 500SE my insurance co. said it was a non car I had to change companys to get it insured. other than that I would buy another Euro car in a heart beat.........
