Hello! Everyone, I was the one that posted the 124 cooling on FREEWAY. I opened up my T-stat and saw that there was none left of it! Just the frame was there, so I figured that it might have shattered inside the cooling lines. I would like to know if I should use the 80 degress or the 71 degrees. I'm from the Philippines and they say that the 71 degress should be for tropical countries beacause of the heat, others say that 71 is for GAS engines and that Diesel's should have the 80 degrees.
Any expert opinion would help :) Thanks! Francis |
Francis, start looking for the pieces in the upper hose and in the radiator, they could be blocking something. They gotta be somewhere, that stuff doesn't dissolve. Diesels like to be warm so 80-88c is probably OK.
