Several weeks ago I had the radiator replaced in my 1992 500SL. After this was done I checked the coolant level and discovered roughly a dozen small black droplets floating/suspended in the neck of the coolant reservoir. The number does not seem to increase, but what could these be? Source? Thanks,

Could be anything. Get a clean white handkerchef and see if you can blot them out of the filler neck. If you get them out take a look and see if they are liquid or solid. May just be black paint flecks from the radiator installation.

It could just be some chemical that was used in the building process of the radiator.
