190e 2.6 fast idle - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

I have a 1991 190E 2.6 with 190K. It now wants to idle at 2000 RPM after I drive it and it warms up. Any suggestions?

Possible places to look. Sticking throttle linkage, TPS out of adjustment, vacuum leak, or, somebody slipped you some jet fuel

You might have one or more problems. You could need to replace the throttle switch, or the idle speed actuator, or the air plate position sensor.
