Don't see how it can be crooked unless you have a broken or missing rail. First i'd remove the rails and lube with a silicone paste. Be careful to only remove phillip screws. If you remove the screw that requires a straight slot screwdriver, you're in trouble. While the rails are off check the little plastic sliders. If worn badly, replace. If all that fails, tighten the clutch about 3/4 of a turn. Hopefully there is no problem with the telex cable. They seldom fail, but if yours did, you are in deep doodoo. God luck.
