86 300E hard to start when cold
 

My 86 300E is hard to start and get running smoothly when the engine is cold. It starts and runs fine when warm. I have tried replacing the water temp. sensor with no luck on the problem. Any suggestions where to look next?

I just fixed mine yesterday. After reading so many threads, I checked the OVP relay overload, over protection relay, it is behind the battery, behind the firewall, remove the cover and check the fuse, even if the fuse looks good, replace the part, on ebay for $20.00, other places about $50.00. This will take care of the starting problem. Good Luck
