The wipers "park" on the drivers side of the windshield. Is it possible to make then park on the passenger side? It just seems odd that they would design it that way, normally MB goes out of their way to keep the drivers view unobstructed.

Not as far as I know; never tried, and haven't seen any other posts on it.
Out of curiosity, you'd want to check the position at the far end of the swing before proceeding any further.
