300e loses spark
 

I've been using the forum for quite some time and never had to post this is the problem
Just picked up a 300e and having some prblems
The car starts fine when cold but once it gets up to tempature it cuts out. no spark comimg out of the coil.It also cuts out on hard acelaration. replaced the coil and no change.Afetr doing a search I came up with Crank sensor,ing. control unit,coil,dis. cap,rotor and ing sw.Did i miss anything or will anything else make it lose spark? Also where is the ing. conrol unit.Thanks

Ignition control unit is on top of the driver side fender, with 3 round plugs on it.
How did you check to find out there is no spark?
