It's me again. I am looking at the S420's and I would like to know what's the tail of the tape. I have looked at a 94 and a 95. Would anyone like to comment on either as to their dependability and service record.

The S is OK if it has an extended warranty. Many things went out early on. If they were taken care of under warranty, you will be OK I hope. The window regulators and lower control arm bushings are examples of things that are problematic.

Go for '96 model years if you can. They will be less problematic, and best deal..
Skipped '94 as it depreciates alot more('95+ got facelift).. Andy Kuo ------------------
