I am installing a new canvas top on my 230SL. What is the correct adhesive for this job. I have gone to my auto paint store and they sell a 3M vinyl adhesive for vinyl tops but would not recommend it for canvas. Anyone have any experience with canvas tops?

You can get the factory stuff for this job from the dealer.
