Can anyone tell me what parts went bad? Code P0170. It s a 98 c230. That code tells me fuel trim malf. bank 1. Thanks

Same code on mine just after 75,000 miles. It turned out to be the mass airflow sensor.

I got the same code in mine a few weeks ago, with the car having approximately 64,000 Miles.

My local independent immediately pointed the Mass Airflow Sensor needs replacing. Bought the part, disconnected the battery and replaced the defective MAS - no more CE light!

Just a reminder, make sure you have your Radio Security Code handy before disconnecting the battery to clear the code.
