Whenever the car has the slightist motion
there is a squak on the left frontend suspension. Have checked the shocks and seem to be fine. The care handles well. Could it be the balljoint or bushings.

Any sugestions would be greatly apperciated.
Thanks! Jim

Most likely a ball joint. I have also seen virtually every joint cause squeeks and also the idler arm bushing and steering shock can squeek also.

I very seldom see control arm bushing noises.

Jim, what is a squak?? Crap, I'm tired tonight. You could have stumbled onto a new term to describe the symphony of weird noises that front ends can produce.

jeff,

A squak is probably a lot like a squeak, except with a typograhical error dropping out the 'e'.<g> Jim was probably also tired when he typed the message.

Actually these terms are quite important when describing sound with nothing available but ASCII characters.

Have a great day,

How about a high pitched squeak? Either way the front end had this loud noise like something needs lubercated.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Larry, I think Jim has coined a new descriptor for front end noises. "Squaks" are the sound that owners make to dealers when they hear "squeaks" from the front ends of their MBZ's. Here's my reasoning. I've heard of owners "squaking", about problems, but I've never heard of them "squeaking". What do you think? It's probably a ball joint as Steve stated. Does it sing for you when you tunr the wheels lock to lock. If so, that's probably the culprit.
