Tips for engine removal - Please

hi everyone,

i am trying to remove my engine from my 88 190e 2.3. i have disconnected everything, i have double and triple checked that every connection is disconnected. The trans is disconnected from the drive shaft, the support beam is off, etc, but for some reason everytime I try to lift the engine out the whole car starts lifting up. So...

I thought maybe someone out there has removed this engine before and could lend me a little advice as to what i may be missing here. Or any tricks that would help me get this engine out.
