Which Receiver-Drier?
I need to replace the receiver-drier in my '86 300E and I see that there are generally 2 available: one made by Fligor for about $42 and another made by ACM:Germany for about $70.00. Is there a practical difference between the two? Am I getting more drying capacity with the more expensive one, or is it just all that extra shipping expense to get it here from Germany?:D
Opinions eagerly awaited. Thanks, Gary |
Fligor is made in Brazil & is OK.
The German made by ACM should be Hansa whitch is the OE brand. |
While Fligor is probably the best of the aftermarket driers, the fit and finish of OE parts are the difference. They probably have the same amounts of the same desicant.
