Hard start:Intake Air Sensor (CIS-E)

86 190E 16 valve very hard to start when outside air temp over 75 degrees. Idles poorly at temps over 75 degrees. Does anyone have procedure to test the 3 pin Intake Air Sensor for CIS-E? Changed this out last year but think new one has failed. My manual recommends testing resistance values but no details.
