Is there a way of properly installing the Lower control arm Bushings for the 124? I noticed that the both holes on front and rear part of the ARM is just plain round, but the bushings inner part have some part tapered off. I also noticed some dots on the rubber part on the outer part of the bushings. DO I just press the bushings in the hole?

Thanks!

Francis

There is a right and wrong way. Be sure that you look at the old ones and install in the same manner.

We have a specil tool for installation.

The guys already installed it. They just put it in any which way. What could be the problem with wrong installation?

Is the problem that serious that I should have it done again?

Thanks!

The reason the bushings are marked is that they have different "hardness" for front & rear bushings. You will know if there is a problem, shake, rattle, & roll. Plus the fronts are installed at different position than rears.

Thanks for the reply. Can you or anyone teach me how the right way is? Which goes to the front and which goes to the rear / what postion is right. Maybe some pictures would help if it's not too much to ask.

Thanks again!

Francis
