Replacing Valve Seals -- Torque
I am replacing the valve stem seals on my 89 300E over the long weekend...however I have not been able to find the torque specs for the bolts being removed and returned to accomplish the job...anyone have this info?

If you mean the bolts that hold the rocker assemblies to the head it's 21Nm. Tighten the bolts as evenly as your patience allows.

Forgot to mention - keep track of the itty bitty ball sockets between the rocker arms and valve stems. Make sure they go back in the same location and position.
