coolant leak

found small coolant leak when changing oil. hoses are good I can see. it drip down side of engine and looks like from back of water pump. anything to look for before pulling pump which does not look to be the easiest thing in the world.
plese advise how to remove water pump if I need to and tools needed.
thanks brian
