Is it normal to see some water dripping from the undercarriage when using your AC? I remember my sister's Civic did that, and a friend said that it's normal for cars to do that. I guess my concern is how can you tell if it's just normal AC usage and not some water leak or AC problem? Car is a '90 190E. Thanks.

Yes, this is a normal condition. The water you are seeing is condensation from the evaporator. Drains from over the tranny onto the ground. On humid days, it can be quite a flood.

cossie,
If you're worried about this being some other fluid, just touch it with your finger. If it's water, and not a vital fluid, you'll know right away.
