W208 Ball joint replacement job.
 

I am getting ready to replace the ball joints on my 99 W208 CLK320. Is there anything out of the ordinary I should be watching out for?

Looks straight forward, but I got to do this on my back (no lift) and expect separating the joint from the hub will be the hardest part. thanks

The C208 chassis uses the same ball joint as the W202/W210 chassis THAT bolts in. Support the lower control arm.

How many miles are on this car ?

Only 34k on this car, I got is second hand. The tie rod assembly was also shot. I did that a month ago. It came off 4 year lease from Hawaii and I think the roads beat up the front end a little early. Clean car other than that!

I also notice the steering box seems loose when I turn it hard left or right, I am going to look at that as well when I get into the job.
