Have a 1987 124 250D Euro (manual transmission). I notice a rattling sound during idling but it stops when I press on the clutch. When I let go of the clutch, it comes back again. What could this be? Release bearing? Is this easy to replace? I have the 124 service manual CD-ROM and can't find any tips about tranny repairs. THANKS!
