Hello all! This might seem like a lame question so bear with me.
Both our M-B vehicles have a digital display in the instrument panel that gives the temperature on the outside of the car. Where does the sensor reside? Am I looking at the temperature near the base of the windshield, at the rear bumper, where? Thanks for the info. ------------------ Jay Yambrovich 1989 300 E 1992 190-E 2.3 |

Its in the front bumper. It is some times influenced by the radiator temp after sitting hot, but by having it there the sensor isn't affected by the car when going down the road.
