SRS light 16v

HI

Sometime ago I took off my streeing wheel to change the
wiper/blinker switch, I unplugged the air bag, and the SRS
light has come on , I was wondering how do I reset the SRS system and finally have the Light OFF!!

Are you sure you plugged the airbag in when you put the wheel back on? I've had my airbag/steering wheel off a couple times with no problems.

99.9% sure's it plugged in

I asked a tech down at the dealership and
he said, once it's took off it has to be reset by them only,?
First time I don't believe them.

Dave,
There isn't ANY way to re-set anything on that SRS system.
The only reason for a light is if there is a FAULT. The cars between 1984-87 have no memory OR ability to recall faults. The dealer should have a test-adaptor that can find the problem though.
