Part Number Identification
 

Was examining the condition of the brushes in my alternator. May soon be time for a new alternator. Another story.

On the back side there is a Beru part, number 0 310 000 062. Small black plastic elect. item thats held to the alt. with a single screw. A small elect. plug that comes from this part connects to a thin metalic strip on the back of the alt.

Searching the WEB, particularly the places that are sellers for WorldPac, I see that the remans they sell do not come with this part. No doubt I can go to the dealer and find out what it is, but I'm merely curious at this point.
