Model year manufacturing timing
 

For a given model like 1994, when would MB begin manufacture of cars for that year? My car is a 1994 E320 wagon was built in October 1993 and I am curious as to where in the production cycle my car was - near the beginning or near the end. Also what does E320S and other suffix designations mean (like W and TE and S)?
