'95 E300 Diesel fuel leak @ shutoff valve

Have developed a fuel seep out of what appears to be vent holes on the fuel shutoff valve. Fuel filter is tight & not leaking. Not a lot of fuel, but enought to be a dirty mess. No apparent correlation between operating condition (temp, speed, etc) and seepage. Notice a thread was started on this topic a while back, but no resolution.
Thanks for any ideas
