1993 W124 Evaporator
 

Has anyone had an aftermarket evaporator installed on a 1993 W124? Which one did you go with? What has been your experience performance wise?

There has been a fairly recent thread about this -- in last 6-9 months or so. Might want to start with a search.

Mine was replaced with an all-copper aftermarket (don't know the name) about 3 years ago and has held up well thus far.

My research revealed..
 

The ACM aftermarket evaporator, from the numerous posts that I've read, is regarded as the best. My evaporator died this summer, and I did a lot of reading to figure out which evaporator to buy. ACM is supposedly the best, as a bonus, it comes with an expansion valve already attached.
